During this one week holiday, I need to do :
I) Text production 2
II) 2 Chemistry reports
III) IES folio
IV) Math revision for quiz on Monday 28/8
I have done:
I) Half a chem report
And it’s already Friday. Ausmat students shouldn’t do this. Ausmat students shouldn’t procrastinate for so many days when there’s so much work to do. Ausmat students shouldn’t feel guilty for not doing any work and so plan to fill the next day with work but instead play computer game until 6am.
Not coming from Chinese school is not an excuse. Yeam, Wen Ter, Audrey are not from Chinese school too, but they can be hardworking. They will do work when they should. I don’t.
A few months ago I instructed my housemates not to hesitate to stop me when they think I play too much computer game, but none of them really did that. Maybe it’s because they think that I still do quite well in my studies, so it’s ok for me to play. I admit, my result isn’t that bad. But I know I can do better. Instead of doing last minute revision until early morning, I can start reading a few days earlier and use the remaining time to do exercise. Based on past experience, I know that my result will be much better if I do that. Instead, when I have free time a few days before exam, I play computer. De-stress my foot! I’m addicted.
After SPM, I have resorted to accepting ‘acceptable’ result. My determination to become the best succumbed to the desire to distract myself from the depressing prospect of studying and doing assignments by playing computer game.
I need to do something that I should have done a long time ago but I’m such a coward I didn’t. Final SSABSA exam is less than 70 days away. Drastic times call for drastic measures.
I am deleting ‘Football Manager 2006’ from my laptop.

Anniversary post
MY BLOG IS NOW OFFICIALLY 1 YEAR OLD !!!!!!!!!!
Ok lah, its actually one year and 2 months old. This post is therefore 2 months late. But I really want to write this. Happy Birthday blog!
I still remember back then I started this blog to let my friends keep track of my life. I just left matric negeri 9 where I found a group of great friends, and my secondary school friends were all busy with their own life and so we seldom had the chance to meet. Therefore I decided to keep a blog to let them know what I'm up to. But not many care to visit my blog. So sad... I almost gave up blogging at one point because of this. Luckily I found the strength to persevere. And I must mention that another reason I started blogging is because of friend, Bak's influence. thanx for introducing me to the world of blogging, JC. And please update ur blog la...
Reading back my early posts brings back a lot of sweet memories. I cant believe how innocent I was. So much has changed in just 1 year. It feels pleasantly strange when I read back my posts; they remind me of the way I used to think and behave back then. I can safely say that in this 1 year, I have matured. The role of my blog, too has gradually changed from a place to inform my friends of the events in my life into a storage of my memories, bitter and sweet, fun and boring, comforting and depressing. Maybe if u have the time, u can read my earlier posts. They might amaze u the way they did me. Dont worry there are only a few posts, as I have always been maintaining my blogging rate at 1 post per month ( sometimes 2 months). Maybe thats y I dont get much visitors.
In this birthday post, I would like to thank everyone who has visited this secluded corner of the world wide web called "Life of Sean", especially those that are kind enough to leave comments. They are :
Bak (pls update ur blog),
Teo
Mandy
Eng Peng
Lawrence
Kok Seng
Nat
Yee Hong
Yeam
Amanda (Albert, ALM)
Daphne (thanx for the publicity)
Audrey

Its quite pathetic to have only such an amount of visitors, but I'm content. The list is longer than I expected.
As I've said before, if its not too troublesome please leave a comment during your visit here. It feels really nice to get a comment.
I have decided to present an award in every anniversary post of mine for the best post I have read that year. And this year's Oscar goes to...
Daphne ! -"Not wanting to think about the endlessness I'll find" Saturday, February 18, 2006 http://deaf-knee.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_deaf-knee_archive.html
and...
Chean Yeaw ! -"Mosquitos!!! Darn them..." http://cincau88.blogs.friendster.com/chean_yeaw/
Yup, this year we have two winners. They're really good. Hope you two won't be angry at me for for giving ur blogs some publicity.
And finally, may those who visit my blog be blessed and those who don't be condemned to eternal ausmat life.
