After we come out he even went to the toilet to vomit. they should sell t-shirts with "I SURVIVED CLOVERFIELD" outside the cinema. shit, i wan my money back.

Fullmetal Achemist

I was recently introduced to this wonderful anime series, thanx to Nooi Hoay's bro who doesnt read my blog so i cannot thank him here. And why is it so wonderful? I once read that a story is all about its conflicts, and if u think about it it's actually quite true. The main and sub-plots that make stories interesting all involves conflict; the battle between good and evil, the internal conflict of a man having to choose between 2 woman, the internal struggle of a person given difficult options to choose from, etc etc. Fullmetal Alchemist (referred to hereafter simply as fma due to my great laziness) provides that in abundance, delivering them with such creativity that it's thought-provoking. The series let viewers thread the fine lines between right or wrong and good or evil, often changing a fixed perception by just showing an event, action or character from a different angle. Most of the time, the characters were forced to take a stand and determine the right thing to do using their own judgment with their actions bringing heavy consequences. I was assured that Evangelion does this better, but I havent watched that before so i'll continue being impressed by fma. Oh, and the story rocks. Full of passion and clever twists. Watch it if you can.

Went to the Youth '08 convention today but didnt get to see Kenny Sia. Got a free AAA battery-sized shokobutsu facial foam from the 988 booth for playing a stupid game which lasted 4 seconds.

At night, Eng Peng's 21st bday party! (for d info of anyone who doesnt know, EP is my secondary skul (SMK Bukit Indah) fren who later became UPM food processing faculty's Course Queen) It was quite big coz around 45 ppl came. D interesting thing about the party is the guests were naturally divided into 2 groups : SMKBI group and UPM group. So in order to make the party more lively we had some ice-breaking games. In our groups the guys r obviously much more sporting than the girls but for their group its d other way around. Luckily, our guys and their girls made up the majority of the crowd so it was as noisy and cheerful as we hoped. Its great seeing so many of my old frens again. And Shawn was an excellent MC.
